The Printer That Kept Going Offline
A family's HP printer worked for a day after setup, then showed 'offline' on every computer. The Wi-Fi password had been entered correctly, but the printer was connecting to a neighbor's open network instead. We locked it to the correct network, assigned a static IP, and it hasn't gone offline in 6 months.
Can't Print from iPhone
A home office worker could print from her laptop but not her iPhone. AirPrint wasn't being found because the printer was on a different network band. We moved both devices to the same 5GHz network and enabled Bonjour forwarding on the router. Printing from the phone now works instantly.
Streaky, Faded Printouts
A photographer's color prints were coming out with streaks and missing colors. Two ink cartridges showed full but were actually dried out. We ran the built-in head cleaning cycle, replaced the dried cartridges, and ran a calibration. Print quality returned to photo-grade output.
Three Computers, One Printer
A household with three laptops couldn't figure out how to share one printer. Each person had tried installing different software. We cleaned up the conflicting drivers, connected the printer via Wi-Fi, and installed the correct driver on all three machines. Now everyone prints from anywhere in the house.
